In cooperation with Belcor, Inc. of Lisbon, MD, Millennium Systems International, LLC recently delivered 450 USGPM Truck Offload and 600 USGPM Truck Load Skids to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Romania. All pump skids featured special cast steel Gorman Rupp Rotoprime Pumps with BAR Air Eliminators, aluminum filter vessels and aluminum Cla-Val Control Valves designed to handle extremely low operating temperatures. All truck loading is via Cla-Val SS Pantograph arms.

Eastport Maine Airport

Located at the eastern-most outpost of the continental U.S., Eastport Maine Airport recently took delivery of (2) MARS RDS (Remote Dispenser) Modules sold by Tanks Unlimited of Westbrook, Maine. Each RDS Module is configured with 2 stage solenoid valves and meter pulsers to interface with a site credit card reader for unattended fueling. Fuel is supplied to each module by means of a Red Jacket Submersible Pump with obligatory inbound filtration provided for the Jet A storage tank.

Jet Fuel Quality Tips

ATA 103 is a critically-important guide for proper storage and handling of aviation fuel. Listed below is a short list of additional recommendations that can help maintain optimum fuel quality at your jet fuel farm:
1. If possible, operate your fuel farm with (2) tanks; 1-receipt; 1-issue.
2. Always allow the delivery tanker to sit for at least 10-15 minutes before
taking a product sample to check for color, clarity & API Gravity.
3. Allow one hour of settling time for every foot of product delivered into
storage.
4. Sump all filters daily.
5. Take Millipore samples while fuel is being recirculated through the filter.
6. Change filter elements when differential pressure reaches 15 P.S.I.D. or
after one year of service; whichever comes first.
